“Il gruppo dell’Alde pensa che sia impossibile per ogni gruppo europeista e responsabile accogliere il Movimento 5 Stelle. Accettarli vorrebbe dire abbandonare il progetto europeo e le urgenti riforme di cui ha disperatamente bisogno”.
Questo il testo originale completo:
First of all, ALDE assessed the seven conditions as completely incompatible with one another. It is clear M5S wants to get Italy out of the Eurozone and at the same wants to introduce Eurobonds. Also their wish to abandon the fiscal compact and to water down the budgetary rules of the EU are inconsistent with their rhetoric of more solidarity between the member states.
It is clear from these seven conditions that M5S does not take the European project very seriously and that this movement is in fact deeply anti-European. The multiple and lengthy talks of M5S with the EFD group of Nigel Farage corroborate this point. The populist standpoints and tactics of M5S are miles away from the values shared by the ALDE members.
We see the European Union as a common project of 28 member states that requires a responsible attitude. It are especially the past policies of ‘cherry picking’ that caused the financial crisis of 2008 to turn into a euro-crisis. M5S seems to think it can break it up our common European project into an inconsistent list of seven conditions that have no other objective than to serve a highly populist and unrealistic program.
For all these reasons, the ALDE group thinks it is impossible for any responsible, pro-European group to take the M5S on board. To accept the party of Beppe Grillo in its ranks, would be to abandon the European project and the urgent reforms it desperately needs.
Alla fine tutto è saltato, ma ha comunque lasciato una nuova ed ennesima crepa nel Movimento.
